Isabella8 Posted November 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2017 I found this useful link for transfer from the cruise terminal in Buenos Aires to city/airports/hotels. Their prices seem very good and you have a choice of private or shared transfer: http://airporttransfersbuenosaires.com/fees-costs-prices.htmhttp://airporttransfersbuenosaires.com/booking/original/book.php?id=
Rare MVPinBoynton Posted December 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2017 That is very helpful. We will be arriving in BA next week and am wondering how much a taxi from the port to the main square in BA is. We are in port overnight, so we will have some time to revisit the lovely downtown area, since it has been 7 years since our first visit.

FredZiffle Posted December 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Wow! What crazy prices. $39 from the port to downtown. If you hail a cab downtown to go back to the port, it will be about $15, so you can see the premium they're sticking on. One alternative if you're not pressed for time: when we were there, a local jewelry company was providing a free shuttle from the port to their store on Florida Street. You had no obligation to even go in their store. We passed on it because there was pretty good line of cruise passengers waiting to take it, but it would be a very cheap way of getting out of the port. $69 from the port to EZE. You can take the bus (with luggage) for $10 pp. There is a kiosk in the port terminal where you can purchase tickets. You can also take the bus for the same price to AEP. How close is the Florida St. jewelry store from Plaza de Mayo? That might work out great for me.
