jesters Posted January 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2018 My family and I have cruised RC for many years, but had a friend convince us to book the inaugural Alaskan cruise on the brand new Bliss. We LOVE the promenade and activities on RC. Our 3 kids are all adults now and traveling with us. (19,22,31) Anyone care to share thoughts on NCL Bliss vs RC Explorer? CruiserBruce Posted January 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2018 Try looking on the NCL board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=107 There is a huge thread over there. But as Bliss doesn't launch until April, how is anybody supposed to compare her to any other ship?
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2018 CruiserBruce has it right as usual. You can learn about the Explorer from the experienced NCL cruisers but until it launches yo won't be able to get actual experiences about the Bliss. Rare MicCanberra Posted January 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2018 IMO, unless you are really prepared for a cruise with hiccups, I would avoid getting onto a new ship until it is at least a month or two old and has run out a lot of the issues that come with a new ship, new staff and such via 3 or four cruises.
