Holly2 Posted December 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2005 We booked a tour with Godfrey months ago but haven't heard him mentioned recently. Anyone have any recent experiences touring with him? How does he compare with Sunny? Thanks

mohendry Posted January 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I sent an email to Godfrey this a.m. Is he pretty good about returning your email correspondence? Or should I call him?
nybumpkin Posted January 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I received very prompt e-mails from him - I think within a day or two at most. I did see that the tour is now $25 pp - with gas prices what they are, I can certainly understand. We're booked for this June.
soozee Posted January 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2006 I am looking for Godfrey's contact information. We used him a year ago and it was great. I need the information for a client. Thanks Soozee
Holly2 Posted January 14, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted January 14, 2006 We did tour with him last week. His email is godfrey@godfreytoursvi.com. Have a great time.
cruisinfirst Posted January 15, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2006 My mother and I did the Godfrey tour in November 2004. Godfrey gave us a choice of beaches - we went to Sapphire and it was wonderful. We are considering another cruise in 2006 and if we visit St Thomas we will book with Godfrey again. Have fun! Coolcruise02 Posted February 27, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 27, 2006 Does anyone know if he picks up at the Crown Bay Dock? Thanks :)
enchic21 Posted February 27, 2006 #9 Share Posted February 27, 2006 I booked his tour for this coming May. Was wondering if there are any instances that he is a no-show? I'm just a little worried since he doesn't require a credit card or anything.
habby Posted February 27, 2006 #10 Share Posted February 27, 2006 Do tours with Godfrey have to be booked in advance?
rjscott Posted February 27, 2006 #11 Share Posted February 27, 2006 We booked in advance, but if he has space, he would accommodate walk-up's, I'm sure. You might want to check and see how many ships are in port the day your's is. That might help you decide between booking in advance and taking a chance on waiting. He is a very nice man, and it is all done on the honor system; you don't pay him until he returns you to the ship. Pretty incredible.
habby Posted February 27, 2006 #12 Share Posted February 27, 2006 Thanks for the reply. Not sure what we're doing yet in St. Thomas. Nice to know there's a possibilty (even if very small) of getting on a tour.
mohendry Posted February 28, 2006 #13 Share Posted February 28, 2006 We booked a tour with Godfrey months ago but haven't heard him mentioned recently. Anyone have any recent experiences touring with him? How does he compare with Sunny? Thanks After our initial emails confirming our tour the last week of January 2005, I did not hear from him either, but he was at the pier waiting when we disembarked. His van was full (although he told us that he operates two vans). He gave us a really great tour and he is very knowledgeable about his island. hockeyluver Posted July 7, 2006 #14 Share Posted July 7, 2006 :) We toured with Godfrey in Feb. 11 of us in all and had a blast!!. We had Godfrey's brother Tony and he was a great tour guide. We are planning on going to St. Thomas again this Feb with a different sister and we are booking with them again. WELL WORTH the $25 per person!!
