Godfrey Tours?

We booked a tour with Godfrey months ago but haven't heard him mentioned recently. Anyone have any recent experiences touring with him? How does he compare with Sunny?

all that 6 hours for 20.00

 

I think he charge 25.00 now but still worht.

 

I will be there again on Jan 10, 2006 but this time my wife and I will do the catamaran to St John island.

I sent an email to Godfrey this a.m. Is he pretty good about returning your email correspondence? Or should I call him?

I received very prompt e-mails from him - I think within a day or two at most. I did see that the tour is now $25 pp - with gas prices what they are, I can certainly understand. We're booked for this June.

My mother and I did the Godfrey tour in November 2004. Godfrey gave us a choice of beaches - we went to Sapphire and it was wonderful. We are considering another cruise in 2006 and if we visit St Thomas we will book with Godfrey again.

I booked his tour for this coming May. Was wondering if there are any instances that he is a no-show? I'm just a little worried since he doesn't require a credit card or anything.

Do tours with Godfrey have to be booked in advance?

We booked in advance, but if he has space, he would accommodate walk-up's, I'm sure. You might want to check and see how many ships are in port the day your's is. That might help you decide between booking in advance and taking a chance on waiting. He is a very nice man, and it is all done on the honor system; you don't pay him until he returns you to the ship. Pretty incredible.

After our initial emails confirming our tour the last week of January 2005, I did not hear from him either, but he was at the pier waiting when we disembarked. His van was full (although he told us that he operates two vans). He gave us a really great tour and he is very knowledgeable about his island.

:) We toured with Godfrey in Feb. 11 of us in all and had a blast!!. We had Godfrey's brother Tony and he was a great tour guide. We are planning on going to St. Thomas again this Feb with a different sister and we are booking with them again. WELL WORTH the $25 per person!!
