Do you need to get dressed up to eat in the Main Dining Room on the Pride?

I do not mean walking in barefoot with a bathing suit, I meant casual cargo shorts and a nice tee shirt?

 

Or do you need slacks and a collared shirt?

Main Dining Room(s)

Following is the dress code in the Main Dining Room(s) for both men and women and pertains to children as well:

Cruise Casual Dress Code

• Men: sport slacks, khakis, Jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long) and collared polo shirts
  
• Women: summer dresses, casual skirts, pants, capris, dress shorts, Jeans (no cut-offs) blouses and tops
  
• Not permitted: Cut-off Jeans, men’s sleeveless shirts, tee-shirts, gym or basketball shorts, baseball hats, flip-flops and bathing suit attire
  

Cruise Elegant Dress Code

• Men: dress slacks, dress shirts, and we also suggest a sport coat; men may also wish to wear a suit and tie or tuxedo
  
• Women: Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; ladies may also wish to wear an evening gown
  
• Not permitted: Jeans, men’s sleeveless shirts, shorts, tee-shirts, sportswear, gym or basketball shorts, baseball hats, flip-flops and bathing suit attire

Yes, shorts and t-shirt are fine for dinner in the MDR. On elegant night you'll need longer pants like nice jeans/khakis (or more if you prefer) and a polo shirt.

People can give their opinions but the FACT is that you can wear t shirts and shorts to the MDR most nights.

On "elegant" night some ships may turn you away if you are dressed like that since the minimum required is long pants and a shirt with a collar.

Thanks moderator...I see you deleted several of my posts and others....I think you missed a few!!! Why have other posts been removed but Post#4 is still up?? I see devisiveness, leaning a certain way, is even tolerated on this board.....Amazing
