TSUmom Posted March 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2018 We always just use cash. We also have a casino card ( you can get one in the casino)instead of using our room key card. That way if we forget to take our card out of the machine ( and yes we have a few times) we are not running around looking for it.
rbt001 Posted March 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2018 so my winnings when advanced back for play will not be charged I hope? When you are done playing at a machine, CASH OUT. A ticket will print, just like land based casinos. You may then insert that ticket in another machine or visit the cashier who will give you cash. Do they expect us just to insert cash? If you are going to gamble more than just a little, you should visit the casino desk and get a CAS players card. That way you will accumulate points for play, and your play will be tracked in their system. The points provide benefits when you accrue enough of them, and the play history may (note that's "may") make you eligible for future comped cruises. Alegeeter Posted March 9, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 9, 2018 Only the initial withdrawal off your card incurs the fee. When you play with your winnings they won't charge you again.
VideoTech Posted March 9, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 9, 2018 What does that even mean, advanced back? It's technically not correct, or not well said. Your winnings (if any) are not "advances" to you in any way. If you withdraw $100 against your cabin account (paying a 3% fee on that withdrawal), and you finish playing with $150, you then cash out for $150 and either keep the ticket to play again, or exchange it for $150 in cash. You don't put the money back in your on board account (or at least, not until you pay your final bill), so it can't be "advanced" to you in any way. You only get charged 3% when you take money from your onboard account. Otherwise you can use cash or a ticket from winnings.
