Does anyone know if the aqua park and pools on the Bliss will be heated for Alaska? Seems like a large waste of space for half the year if they’re not given the weather....just wondering thanks

Also doesn’t seem to have an indoor pool? Or did I miss one on the deck Plans?

I think we will find out the definite answer in a couple weeks once NCL takes possession of the ship, however most ships do have heated pools that do the Alaska run. NCL made it clear that she was built for Alaska, so hopefully they designed the pools to be heated.

There is an indoor pool in the Thermal Suite, however it's more of a hydrotherapy pool I believe.

Well, look at it logically.

The Bliss isn't Norwegian's first ship to sail in Alaska. They have a number of ships there each and every year.

Are the pools and aqua parks on those ships heated??

Do those ships feature an indoor pool??

Why would the expectation be that the Bliss would be different??

No water parks on current ships. The pools are heated.

No NCL ships have "indoor pools" for the general population. BA, GA, Escape, and Joy have small pools with retractable roofs for the Haven. The thermal suite has a hot hydro therapy pool/Jacuzzi.

Why would the expectation be that the Bliss would be different??

Because.

Questions really don't help answering the question.

They aren't supposed to answer the question, the invocation of the socratic method helps some realize that the question did not need to be asked in the first place.
