DaveOKC Posted April 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Found out the hard way last week. I had some extra OBC and used it in the casino. On my final bill it was charged back to my account. I know that some OBC can be used, but mine was from Stockholder credit and Future Cruise Deposits only. Just a heads up.
cabinluvn Posted April 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2018 I have checked our bill before leaving the ship and the casino charges came off the top OBC as we played in the casino. OBC from HAL and stock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It had this entry: "Promo Credits -64.75" So, $64.75 was added to my final bill. You might want to check your credit card bill when you get it. Rare kazu Posted April 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2018 Now that is interesting Dave. I've never had a problem but I usually buy OBC along with what I receive from HAL and/or CCL shares. Perhaps that makes a difference? Very informative, thank you.

In my case it was all HAL provided OBC.

cabinluvn Posted April 9, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 9, 2018 We always spend more than our OBC, so maybe that is the difference Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
William W Posted April 9, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 9, 2018 On a somewhat related topic, do you know if OBC issued by HAL can be used toward Hotel Charges/Gratuities?
