Oct. 16  Island Princess with partial transit of Gatun Locks and Silver Cloud Expedition westbound.  Unfortunately for us, Island Princess was in the ear lane, and Cloud in the far lane, hidden  but for glimpses

Here you can see a tiny bit of Cloud's forward area

When the forum came back up, my picture (to me) were just links.  But they have been coming back gradually.  But I went to the Test Forum and practiced.  I post these from Shutterfly, just by the copy/paste method.  But there I tried that, then still in Shutterfly by clicking on the url, and then by just dragging and drop from Windows Photo Gallery.  All worked.

Halloween and we have Zuiderdam on a partial transit of Gatun Locks, and Regatta going westbound.

Zuiderdam does not appear to have purchased the total sunshine upgrade:

Nov. 9.  First to transit today is Ocean Dream, the Peace Boat.  She does world cruises from Yokohama.  If she looks vaguely familiar, it's because she started life a Carnival Tropicale, their first newbuild (1981).

enhance

And a view of her from the bridgecam of NCL Jade

enhance

She started out in sunshine, but here at Miraflores she is being chased by a squall...

And again on Nov. 9 we have NCL Jade doing a partial transit

An unusual catch today:  You can see Jade's tender heading for the Gatun Yacht Club where they offload passengers for excursions.  She is on the far right, edge of picture, heading for the grayblue roofed building on the right.  In the second pic you can see the tender mid-left coming back to the ship.  Usually the ships are turned away and we don't see this.

enhance

On the map, the building they are heading for is just about where the blue dot Pequeni is

enhance

Time to head for Colon to pick those folks up

5 hours ago, ski ww said:

Not too many people out on the bow, when we did the canal you could hardly find a space on the bow for picture taking.

If you focus on the pool in the bow pic, you see the words "crew pool" .  The pic shows the crew only area.
