I’m very prone to motion sickness. Bonine is my friend on the type of tour you describe. Just one tablet the morning of the trip works wonders.

It curves but is not what I would call curvy.

1. The TWT is by far preferable to the Natural History tour...in fact the NHT is worthless.

 

2. If the TWT is booked when you try, ask about 'cancellations'...in our case they told me to call 8 days before the date we wanted. We called (were in downtown Juneau), 6 seats had opened up so we took two and had a fabulous trip.

 

3. This was in August, we were able to choose the bus that left shortly before 7 am.
