September is such a great time to cruise - my only worry would be hurricanes but I'll keep my fingers crossed

for you. The Fantasy is a great ship as far as I'm concerned. We only cruised larger ships at first and now that

we have discovered the smaller ones we love them! Thank you for the kind words about my family - I think I

have beautiful children too, but I'm a little prejudice. We certainly have a varied crew with blondes, red heads

and brunettes but that's what happens when God adds to your family through adoption!

Great review! We love the Fantasy. We live 3 hours from Mobile and we sailed on her 3 times last year. Congrats to your daughter on her graduation. Mine just graduated from nursing school and we decided to fly to Jamaica and do an all inclusive instead of cruising this year. But I am trying to find a long weekend where I can squeeze one in.

Mine just graduated from nursing school and we decided to fly to Jamaica and do an all inclusive instead of cruising this year. Wow - you sound like me. I'm always looking for an extra day or two off so I can plan another cruise. Looks like

this one on the Fantasy will be my last one until February when hubby and I do an 8 day Southern Caribbean cruise on the Sunshine. It will be our first aft extended balcony and I'm so excited. I keep telling myself that since I have several camping trips planned and 2 trips to the beach planned that I can hold out until February for another cruise. We will see!

Thanks for the review. I have been checking back ever since your post about getting the upgrade call. I am so happy you were able to pull off the surprise for the girls and that you guys had a great time. We just got off the Imagination last Thursday and we enjoyed the small, older ship too. It felt like you knew your way around more and not so overwhelming. More cozy. Congratulations to Whitney for graduating. I'm so glad you guys had a great time. If I ever make it to Costa Maya, I will for sure be checking out Tropicante. Sounds like the perfect spot!!

When we got back to the ship Lindsey had to check her tequila that she had bought

when we went on the tequila tour. After she checked it we went back to the cabin to

cool off and rest some before getting ready for dinner.

 

Later in the evening we got ready for dinner and went to eat. We went a little later than we had been going and once again we didn't have to wait. We were seated in a new station tonight as well and service was good.

 

After dinner we caught the tail end of the music trivia in the atrium. If you've never been to one of the music trivia's I would suggest you check it out on your next cruise. It's not really trivia because as soon as the song plays everyone immediately starts belting out the words. It's a lot of fun though and we had a great time.

 

We were walking around the ship and Lindsey said she wanted to go back to the casino to play one more time. Whitney said she had lost all she was going to lose in the casino (her $10) but said she would just sit and people watch while we went back. We sat back down at our same machines and played. I think Lindsey put in $10 and I only put $20 in because I had already lost $40 (we aren't really big spenders either). We did really well though - Lindsey was so excited when her machine hit for free spins and she was winning money and not even having to do anything. She ended up about $40 or $50 ahead for the cruise and I ended up being about $70 ahead for the cruise. We were both happy that our

luck had turned to the good.

 

After a midnight snack of pizza and ice cream we headed back to the cabin. As usual I read some out on the balcony and then turned in for the night.

 

The next day would be our final sea day and I had plans to get outside very early because I wanted to be sure and get a chair where hopefully we would get some of that wonderful ocean breeze.

Thank you for taking the time. :) After your first couple posts I was confused because you talked about your two older daughters and then mentioned leaving hubby home with your 4 younger kids. :confused: Then I realized your user name was probably created before your two newest blessings. :D

 

Congratulations to your daughter! We need more teachers, and she sounds like she’d be great! I just watched my oldest graduate with her BSN, and was completely bummed when she said she didn’t want to go on a cruise to celebrate :eek:

He charges depending on the number of people in your party - naturally the more you have the less

it is per person and also how much time you plan on spending with him - whether you want the entire

day or only a half day.

 

If I remember correctly, it was going to be $140 for 4 of us but since Donna ended up not cruising

with us I believe we paid $120 for 3 of us. Now as I said before, we have used Crescencio several times

and he may be giving me a better deal because we are repeat customers and because I have referred so

many people to him. Either way it is a wonderful deal and you won't find a better person to spend

your day with.

Thank you so much for reading! Yes, you are correct in that I need to change my user name. We adopted our last

2 children (both boys) in August of 2016 and the GeorgiaMomof4 was created long before that.

 

Thank you for your congratulations for Whitney! She is wonderful with her younger siblings, especially those 2 youngest ones. Justin, being 20 years younger almost to the day is really like her own child. The funny thing is though that she doesn't want to teach elementary children she wants to teach high school or middle school.

 

She actually got a job offer yesterday that she is going to take. It's at the high school where she, my husband, myself and Lindsey all graduated from and where Hope our 14 year old is an upcoming Sophomore at and to beat it all - it's right across the street from our house. She was so excited when they called her yesterday and offered her the job.

 

I feel your pain about your daughter not wanting to go on a cruise for her graduation. I'm thinking Lindsey is going to

be the same way - she will probably want a trip to New York or Las Vegas instead. I had much rather cruise! Congratulations to your daughter as well. I'm sure whatever trip you all take it will be wonderful.
