Cabin doors

We have a small group going on the Oosterdam. Are the cabin doors made of metal so that we can use a magnet memo board to leave messages for each other?

If not, I guess I'll think of something else!

Thanks!

A tip from another poster suggested getting what are known as "rare earth magnets". I got a a few and will try them on various surfaces starting this coming Monday. I have had no luck with magnets on the walls either - could be some ships have different interior surfaces than others. It is such a great idea I am hoping I can break the code.

DH loves to put up a large map of where we are going and has to put up a lot of removable sticky tabs, which start floating down after a while.

I will test these new "rare earth magnets" on the Zaandam, which would then apply to the other R class ships as well, I suppose.

Post-It Notes work very well and come in many sizes.
