Booking onboard

On my next cruise in the Silhouette I want to make my first reservation onboard a cruise to take advantage of the additional promotions, basically I have two questions:

 

1) for foreigners the reservation is made in its local currency (MXN) or in US dollars?

Celebrity has a office in Mexico an local bookings are made in pesos

 

2) Is the deposit charged to your account on board or to your credit card?

Deposit is charged to your credit card, not your on board account.

Generally the charge is whatever currency you used to book the cruise. You cannot use On Board Credit to make the new booking. It must be charged to a credit card. If you have only a cash account, you must provide a credit card to make the booking.
