Sailing on Triumph just before dry dock

I think you can change to a later date on a carnival cruise for a $50 processing fee plus the change in the fare.... if i'm not mistaken. :-)

I believe Carnival Sunrise as she will be called doesn't come back to NOLA but goes up to Norfolk and then FT Lauderdale so there might be a cost issue.

Panda Bear as I am going out on the cruise right before Dry Dock I think we will be alright. As BoDidley pointed out there will be some things going on but nothing to ruin our cruises.

I was on the Liberty right before it went into dry dock for the Funship 2.0 upgrade and the only things I noticed were the last night of the cruise at about midnight, they started packing everything up. Clearing the gift shops, emptying the bars of all spare bottles, etc. You could tell they were getting ready for dry dock. Also the morning of debarkation, there were less staff members visible. A lot of them said they were heading home or to a new ship. None of this impacted my cruise.
