Hey there!

Just wondering if there is any rhyme or reason for formal nights?

Looking to see how many formal nights and when they will be held on our upcoming cruise. There is 1 Sea Day during this cruise (Canada & New England)

Thanks in advance!

There will probably be 2 formal nights on your cruise, one of which will probably be held on night 2 or 3, depending on if you are in port and if so, what time you leave that port. The second one will probably be on night 8 or 9, again, depending on how long you are in port if you are not at sea.

You can pretty much count on the one sea day as having a formal night if it is early or late in the sailing (just not the first night or last night). From there, if you leave a port by 4 PM on one of these nights, that will more likely than not be your other formal night.

On occasion, the ship's admin will make a decision to have one less formal night, but it is rare. Without knowing what you exact sailing is, it's hard to predict on which nights they will be held.

Thank you so much! I was wondering if one of the formal nights would be on our wedding night haha. I guess we will wait and see!

Jewels89,

There’s two formal nights on a 10 day cruise. If you invite me to the wedding? :D I will be happy to show up in my Tuxedo. :D Good Luck & Congratulations again :champagne-toast:

Tony, you are more than welcome to crash the wedding [emoji23]. The more the merrier, right?
