Concierge Class -- "priority debarkation"?

It's been several years since we've sailed with Celebrity -- we're back on board soon and really looking forward to it! I see '"priority debarkation" on the list of "perks" for Concierge Class -- is that for real now? (I don't recall it in the past.) If so, and I assume this means for the final day of the cruise, how does Celebrity implement that on board -- is there some place you wait to get off the ship?

Thanks for any info!

There is a special area for Concierge Class guests to wait for disembarkation that serves a continental breakfast (juices, coffee, pastries, fruit). I don't remember getting off earlier, but instead waiting for the group number to be called. However, the last time we used it we were interested in remaining on board as long as possible since we had a later flight and it was more comfortable to sit and wait on the ship than in the airport. If you need to disembark early, I'd speak with the concierge sometime before mid cruise and see if he/she could expedite it for you. It's been my experience that the concierge is only too happy to assist with all reasonable requests, and that seems an easy one.

We were Concierge class on the Solstice in Aug. Our debarkation group was 38ish...we waiting in the Concierge lounge and the Concierge person would announce what numbers were able to disembark...different from the ones being announced over the loudspeaker. I think once our luggage was off we were told we could disembark even though for crowd control, it wasn't our group's turn yet...just our recent experience.

It's more than just a case of crowd control, at least at some ports. Luggage is off-loaded from the ship by number. In some ports if you are number 38, and you go early, you may find that they are only up to number 24, and you'll be waiting around in the terminal for your luggage to arrive. Better to wait on the ship until your number is called.

We weren't told that we could go early until all of the luggage was off and lined up.
