Are they actual gifts or raffles that you have to be in the casino for. I've heard they just give away TV's, i phones, and computers. I just can't imagine they just give those away. And ours is a 14 day cruise which makes me think the prices wont be that good. I'm just curious I will be happy if I break even being on the boat 14 days gambling.

We went on an Elite cruise in July which is better than Ultra supposedly and there were no giveaways like that of any kind. The only gifts they gave were Carnival branded items.

From my 'asking' about elite, I'd rather take am ultra if you want a gift, the elite is better with transportation, and excursion!

We are going out on Oct 20 on a Ultra Cruise, and will do a review of the ultra cruise program as it is set up now!:D

From what I've been told, everyone gets a time to show up in the casino for their prize drawing of some type. The prizes range from $3-400. casino cash or cash(?) to I-Pads, I-Phones, 65 inch color tv, etc.!

As far as breaking even, good luck with that, few win, 'almost' everyone loses!

We gamble as entertainment, similar to those who pay for a specialty dinner, pay for an excursion, buy the cheers drinks, shopping on ship/in port, etc., all of which we rarely/never do!;p

I too am leaving on the 20th for my first Ultra Cruise ( 7 days on the Glory). I've read other posts from people who have been on an Ultra and they all said that there is indeed a guaranteed win and that you are given a specific time to be in the casino to spin a wheel to determine what gift you get.

I believe it is an Elite only perk. All of the other invitations stated it was only good in the casino while playing

Oh, Elite only, not Ultra. Going on my first Ultra on Magic Nov. 11. Looking forward to finding out what it's all about.
