I hope that all will be fixed by the 26th, as that is our sail date.  Our cabins are on deck 5.

Would anyone know the condition of cabin 5580 and 5582?

Sorry, all I saw posted about was the casino. I hope you'll come back and give us an update. We have 2 more months until our cruise.

We just got off the Dawn. Windows in the casino and Le Bistro were damaged. Not sure about the casino since we didn't go there but Le Bistro reopened the next day. We dined there the following night (originally had reservations for the night of the storm) and there might be an issue with the heating in the restaurant because it was very cold.

Thanks for letting us know.  Was the damage caused by large waves?  Some had wondered if it was just broken water pipes.

We love the Dawn.  Had a great cruise on her in early September.

We are on Dawn now and were also last week. Charlottetown was cancelled and seas became progressively angry during day. Was not uncomfortable and waves were mesmerizing. Mid afternoon we had significant rolling side to side and much higher waves slapping sides. Casino window broke and was closed for 2 days for repair. Le Bistro also closed. We were in Gatsbys between the 2 that evening and only evidence was loss of sound system and 2 days lost internet. Captain gave hourly updates although everyone was having so much fun you couldn’t hear him over conversation. Passengers on 4 and 5 reported preventative installation of steel plates over windows as waves were consistently higher. All outside access was forbidden for 2 days.

You would think that if something consequential had happened that someone on board would have provided details. Since there is nothing from on board the ship, I suspect that this is no big deal.

exactly what  I was thinking. By now we would be aware of it via the media or via others.
