We will be boarding at 11:30 as opposed to our 2:00 scheduled time. I’m very excited to have a guest come on board with us to see the ship and enjoy lunch.

That 2 pm time is just a recommendation. With or without someone joining you on a BVE you can board earlier.

Its lots of fun to have a guest join you!!

Have fun

We have done the BVE twice. The first time I had run out of FCD and wanted to purchase more so we drove three hours to SF and spent a wonderful 4 hours onboard. We bought our FCDs, had a great lunch, etc. The second time our son drove us to the port and we took him aboard for the BVE. He got a chance to see the ship and have a nice meal. He was driving right back so when he ordered his included wine with lunch he gave it to my wife. It's great to board so early when the ship is mostly deserted. Wedding parties get to board before BVE folks but it's nice to be among the very first to board. For our son it was just something nice to do. For us we definitely take advantage of taking the cost off of another cruise. 🙂
