Double Tap White Hamburger Menu Not Working?

A few weeks ago, someone posted a tip about double tapping the white navigation bar's hamburger menu as a quick back to top shortcut. It worked on the phone and tablet versions of the site. I reposted the tip back on October 27th, but it seems to have stopped working. Did anyone else notice this?

Please, for those of us who are jargon impaired (like me), what is a hamburger menu?

Sorry for nomenclature. I was referring to the blue three bar icon in the white, upper menu bar. You used to be able to double tap it and be taken to the top of the page.
