Biometric Exit - Miami Terminal A

I must say I am really impressed by the technology.  My almost 4 year old daughter was only 5 months old when she had her passport photo taken.  3 weeks ago we went on an Air France flight to Paris and they were using the facial recognition.  The ONLY previous photo they could have had used was her passport photo that must have linked her passport pic to her on our initial check in that day.  It scanned her and gave her the OK and spit out a piece of paper with her name and seat number just as fast as me, wife and 7 year old brother.  The software can even extrapolate from an infant photo.  It’s very impressive and efficient.

Can you still use the new Face ID scanners if you used a passport card instead of a regular passport? I can’t see how that would make any difference just making sure.

TIA

Yes. I used my passport card when we got off Allure last Sunday. No problems with the facial recognition.
