Planning my first Celebrity Cruise on the Reflection.  I need a cabin that is mid ship on a low deck.

Would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has stayed in or is familiar with these cabins.

Thanks a lot.

Stateroom 6210 is on the hump/angle and has a huge balcony.  Jump on it.  6244 has a normal size balcony.  Go for 6210, without a doubt.  It has the bed by the bath.

I've stayed in both 6210 and 6240 .... both are wonderful cabins.  Grab 6210 if you can ... the balcony is large and 6244 does not but still a great location.  However, 6244 (at least on the Solstice) has a white noise inside the cabin.  This doesn't bother us at all but some may not like it.

Deck 6. Cabins are good with a few notes.   Cabins near the elevators midship can hear music from the grand foyer.  You may enjoy the music without going there. You will not hear the elevators.  I really like cabins on the hump. Great location for most things. Avoid cabins directly over any lounge with music. That includes the casino.  Look at the deck plan.  Never a problem over shops.  Once on the Eclipse, we were directly over the Ensemble Lounge.  We could feel the vibration from the music. Your best cabins are the decks that have cabins above and below it.

I’ve booked 6243 for one of my Reflection cruises next summer.  I always try to get one of those cabins on the slant for th bigger balcony.  The other thing to consider is the view...these cabins are 2C or 2D—obstructed views.  2Ds are more obstructed...though none are as obstructed as Princess’ obstructed views.  Lifeboats, generally, are below the railing level or below floor level, depending on the cabin.

We have booked 6210 twice in the past, but both times ended up upgrading to Concierge class prior to the sailing (and nabbing slant Concierge cabins each time...each time taking advantage of a price drop that made it a trade across or a minimal up charge) so we’ve still never actually cruised in an obstructed view cabin as of yet.

Thanks for the info.

How obstructed is the view?

Also, were you able to hear noise from the deck below in the cabins?

As noted, the noise in 6240 (two doors down from 6244) was not from the centrum but more like a white noise from fans.  It was not as noticeable out on the balcony but you could definitely hear it near the cabin door and bathroom.  We loved it ... it drowned out any other noise from passengers while in the main cabin area.

The view in 6244 would be obstructed only when looking straight down.  The top of the lifeboat would be even with the flooring of your balcony, as with all 2C categories.

6210 is a 2D category but has a huge balcony and the obstruction, even though more obstructed in other 2D cabins, is very slight.  When  looking forward, you can see a little chaser boat.  If at the railing of your balcony, you will look straight down onto deck 5 but you will still be able to see out to the water.  I think this cabin, if not for the one category upgrade, is the best bargain on the entire ship.  The obstruction was not at all bothersome to us and would book this room again in a heartbeat.

Both cabins are in very convenient locations on the ship but you can see neither forward and aft from other cabin you're looking at ........ 6210 allows you to see forward and 6244 allows you to see aft.  The hump in the middle will block your view in the opposite direction .... but even that has never been a problem as far as we are concerned.  If you want a full view forward and aft as well as a midship location, choosing a 2B category will offer this, but with a normal sized balcony.... still, a great choice.

Again, I would choose 6210 in a heartbeat if it is available.

Booked cabin 6210.  Thanks to all.   Good to know that it is a desirable cabin.

The deck plan shows cabin  near the ilounge.  Is that a quiet area?   Also, how loud is the music from the grand foyer?  Would it interfere with a light sleeper?

Looking forward to sailing on the Reflection.

Take it from a fellow light sleeper ...No noise at all from the iLounge or from the music in the Grand Foyer heard once inside your cabin.

I've sailed in 6218, which is right across from the entrance to the iLounge ... still no noise heard! You are actually up the hall a bit from this.  Great room  choice!!

Hello I reserved cabin 6245 in the Reflections, I think 6244 is exactly the same in the other side of the ship

I'm concerned about the obstructed view, can you tell me if is really obstructed ? does it really worth to pay more for 1 upper level ? will be a huge difference ?

What do you mean when you say  " white noise from fans "" ?

Do you have any picture of the balcony view ?

Thank you
