Hotel Recos for Tampa Port

What hotel would you recommend that includes:

shuttle to Carnival cruise port

nearby restaurants for dinner

breakfast at hotel

nearby convenience or gas station to purchase soda and beer for cruise?

I’ve never been to Tampa so I’m not familiar with Rocky Point. Are there any specific hotels you would suggest?

Try the Holiday Inn Express Rocky Point or the Double Tree.  

 

Also you can Google hotel’s Rocky Point Tampa and it will give you others.  Also Westshore is a nice area....

 

We usually stay downtown at the Marriott Waterside or the Embassy Suites Convention Center...both of which are less than a mile to the port

Many Hotels near the TPA airport in the Westshore area with nearby dining and shopping options.  Most will not include a shuttle to the port, by a taxi is only about $27 or you can Uber for about $20.

 

dates and budget would help the suggestions to be closer to your target.  Have a great cruise. 😎

Beer? How are you getting beer on board?

All you are allowed is 1 bottle of wine

for each person.

I think they even stoped allowing water

and soda a couple of yeats ago.

I flew into Tampa January 4 this year and stayed with Hilton and used their free shuttle from airport and paid $13 uber to port, after cruise I used $8 van to airport and got another free shuttle from airport to hotel and worked great.  All these hotels have dining inside and restaurants close by.
