We are looking for a small boutique style hotel with a day pass for the beach and a nice lunch. Not looking to go to large crowded beach, just somewhere relatively quiet and upscale. Suggestions???

Contact Waves, they may have spaces available.

Just went to Barbados last week. Got the day pass to the Hilton on Needham's Point. Even though it's a Hilton, the beach was empty. Got there about 10 am. Lunch and one drink (alcoholic or non) is included. 2 pools, 2 beaches, good food. Drinks are expensive so bring your own water if you can.

Yes, that is the Hilton.

I just returned from five nights there attending a conference.  It's a lovely property with friendly service.  I was working most of the time though, so I didn't get to try out the beach amenities beyond the poolside bar.  But as you can see from this picture, my 7th floor balcony "office" wasn't too bad:

And here's a photo of Carlisle Bay as seen from the hotel.  You can see the cruise ships docked across the bay:

I am hoping to go back sometime for a real vacation!
