Booking on Friday just wondered about people's thoughts on which floor is best and why, we are booking an Oceanview, thinking about the Main floor because its included in the price, is there any advantage to being up higher ??

The higher you are, the more motion you will likely feel, especially on the small ships like the Fascination. When we're on the small ships we like deck 2 since it's less motion. Plus it's quicker to get on/off at ports. The higher you are the longer you'll likely wait in lines to come down to get off.

We were in Upper 161 on the Fascination in September. No notice of motion of the boat; wait times for the elevators were no more than 2 or 3 minutes at any time (we did 6 ports in 7 days). The only problem was a domestic dispute in the hall outside our room the last night on board. Security was called and that was taken care of quickly. Keep in mind we sailed a couple of days after Hurricane Florence came ashore so we were expecting some higher seas but we didn't notice that at any time.

We had an aft oceanview on the Paradise on deck 2, and loved it. We have an aft oceanview set for the Fascination in July. You will love it! We didn't do it except for pictures, but you can actually sit in the window like a wierd little book nook.

.

Fascination in September? You were in my neck of the woods!

Barbados on Wednesdays, like clockwork.

Once the storms are not around

seas are usually flaaat in Hurricane Season, contrary to what ppl think

Upper 161. Nice location!

NO cabins opposite you in the hallway (big plus)

and just around the corner is a bank of elevators!

Well done.

Oh my we are on Empress.....should we really expect more motion?  I've got a script for the Transderm-Scop patch but it's been on back order at my pharmacy for weeks.  Have no idea if I will get it in time.  Folks say ginger snap cookies help?  Any other ideas?
