Refundable Depostis

Has Royal now completely eliminate refundable deposits from their website. What about if the call in? I know many online cruise sites still offer them.

You can still get refundable deposits on stateroom categories of JS and below.

 

Royal (in their typical deceptive way) has made it very tedious to get prices on refundable deposit bookings.  You must go through almost the entire booking, entering passenger names, and then you will get to a page with a checkbox to select refundable booking.

  If trying to check prices on the website, I have found that you need to enter all of the guest information and then go to the next screen and it will give you the choice to choose refundable and what the cost is to do so.

It's actually easier to call in and get the pricing. I recently did and opted for the NRD...just seemed like a better deal taking everything into account for the 3 cabins I booked for our extended family cruise.
