MillerWRHS Posted January 31, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2019 We are in a 2 BR Family Suite (non-Haven) on the Pearl Mar 17-24. We leave out of Tampa. We live in Tampa, so it is just a 10 min drive to the port for us. We are wondering when we should arrive (because we are suite guests, it gave us a window of time rather than us choosing a time)? There are 2 adults, a 14 year old, a 10 year old, and an 8 year old in our party. Thoughts for anyone who has traveled NCL out of Tampa before? roger001 Posted February 1, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2019 Boarding begins about 11: 15 - 11:30 usually. Cabins available about 1 pm, suites maybe earlier. Just matter of how soon you want to begin your vacation. A specialty restaurant will be serving lunch for suite guests when boarding begins. For suite check in you will be directed to a check in desk for that. If boarding has not begun, you can go to a suite waiting area where snacks will be set up. Then you will be escorted to the ship. If boarding has already begun, you can board as soon as you check in. .
don't-use-real-name Posted February 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2019 As a rule suite haven garden class guests do not have a designated suggested recommended time for check-in ! Just show up at your convenience to check-in and board the ship. Using the guidelines of roger001 poster #2 will work fine - getting on board early has it advantages of getting settled in having a meal and checking the ship out - regarding restaurant reservations early check-in gives your Concierge and or Butler the opportunity to secure those times and dates for your party. Shore excursions can be made if not done previously and if your ship has show times with reservations that can be arranged also.
