VK3DQ Posted February 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2019 Hi folks. Just a heads up that we had 400 people attend the meet on board Ovation ,the meet was held in 2-70 and rci were very free with the door prizes with backpacks ,t shirts, bottles of wine and dinner for two at chops grill being given away. This was great recognitation of cruise critic from rci Best regards. John
Ourusualbeach Posted February 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2019 (edited) At our last meet n mingle in the Allure it was hosted by a very bored Activities manager and his helper. They gave away 3 bottles of wine and a backpack. Nice to see that some ships are still doing a good job with it. Chiliburn Posted February 6, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 6, 2019 Must be two Ovations ? we just got of the other Ovation and the m&m was a total muck up. We had about 200 . Because we were going to New Zealand our clocks went back a hour each day. Me and a heap of people turned up the first sea day to find it wasn’t on,it was the second sea day. The meet time. was 9:00 am .so it was really 7:00am . After a big night 20 people turned up. I wasn’t there but RC crew complained that all their efforts none of you people turned up. Cruise Critic members said why don’t you hold it at a reasonable time? Their response was they need the venue for other things.
