Amsterdam Arrival/disembark

Our scheduled arrival time in Amsterdam is 7:00AM. Is this the anticipated arrival time or disembarkation time? We have a flight out of AMS now departing at 8:55AM. Flight is on a Sunday so traffic/security/passport control at AMS should not be much of a problem.

That is scheduled arrival time.  You may or may not arrive earlier.  

 

I would be changing my flight.  That is way too close for comfort. In 2017, I was one of the first groups to disembark.  By the time I got to the airport, checked in, made it through security and walked to my gate, it was just a short wait until we started boarding for a noon flight.

I hate to say this, but you are going to miss your flight. The 7:00 is your scheduled arrival time (ships can be late too), disembarkation will not start until some time after this. Then its 30-45 minutes to the airport from the port. Are you going International or intra-Europe? Since you mention passport I presume International? If your checking bags, then baggage check-in generally is at least 60 minutes prior to departure time.  

 

I've never scheduled a departure from AMS prior to noon when getting off a cruise and I'd prefer an even later time if possible.

I can’t remember what time our flight left, but it took us a good 3 hours from the time we entered the airport until we got to our gate. All the lines were never ending. We both got pulled out for extra screening(had our camera in our carry on and they didn’t like that). At the gate, my husband was pulled aside again and they gave him and his carry on a severe once over, wiping everything, including the inserts of his shoes, with a drug tracking wipe or whatever those wipes look for...If it was me, I would be nervous about cutting it that close. If you are taking the ship’s shuttle, it doesn’t leave until the bus is full. There are just too many variables that could delay you getting to the airport and on the plane in time

Flight is to Lisbon for another cruise departing same day. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and pay the change fees.
