Flower Shop on Victory

Recommended Posts

Good morning, All:

Sailing on the Victory soon, and I would like to get flowers and  them in the ocean in honor of my friend, my cruise buddy, that recently passed away.  Does Victory have a flower shop on board.  If not, I have two options of purchasing beforehand and having delivered to the room or purchasing then in Cozumel.

Thanks in advance.

I suspect you may not be allowed

to throw flowers (or anything else?) into the sea!

You'll need to clear that with Carnival when you get on board

- if there's a flower shop at all. I don't recall one, sorry.

Apologies — I wasn’t very clear.  I have no intentions of throwing anything overboard.  I was planning on going to a beach somewhere to release the flowers.  I will research prior to doing this to see if it is legal for me to do.

In that case, you will need to get flowers at a port. Flowers purchased onboard will not be allowed to leave the ship due to agriculture laws.

Ah, you are correct.  Totally forgot about that.  Last time we were there, they had the sniffer dogs as you exited.  Thanks!
