  1. I have always enjoyed getting up early and walking around the ship while everyone is still asleep. It is so peaceful and you can take in all her beauty. Also have the opportunity to get some really great pics of the ship.
  2. Laughed so hard I almost spit out my wine.....
  3. In Cayman, if you test positive, you go in to quarantine for 14 days. You then have a second test to confirm you are COVID free. If you don’t test negative a second time, another 14 days quarantine. This continues until you get a negative test.
  4. Thank you so much for this! Haven’t seen any sunset pics, so I hope you don’t mind me adding one.
  5. Apologies if I got the ship incorrect. I was going by what was in our newspaper.
  6. It was the Caribbean Princess and the gentleman passed away this morning. His wife is still in quarantine here on Island. They were from Italy.
  7. It was the Caribbean Princess. Sadly, he passed away this morning. His wife is still quarantined here on Island.
  8. Okay I am stealing this post idea from another board. All the talk of the unspeakable virus is not allowed here. Show us all some of your favorite pics from Royal. Whether it is the ship, the sunset, food porn, etc., post them here. I have plenty, but let’s start with these.
  9. I love walking the ship early — when everyone else is sleeping. I am an early riser and always up at 6am. The ship is so peaceful and you can explore and get some great pics. Also enjoy taking a nap in the afternoon. We find a quiet spot on deck and snooze for a bit. Park Cafe and the roast beef sandwiches. And oh the cream puffs — can’t forget the cream puffs. In my world, balcony is the way to go. Something about sitting on your balcony and enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine just makes it worthwhile. Oh, and it makes it easier for watching the pier runners; you can do so in the privacy of your own room! Sometimes it’s hard to get a good spot on deck to watch this.
  10. Does anyone know what is the monetary equivalent of one point? For example, $2.50 per point. Thanks.
  11. Can this be reserved pre-cruise, or do you have to wait until you are on board?
  12. Thank you for this. I live here on Grand Cayman, and if Coronavirus were to hit here, the Island could be completely devastated. We (and Jamaica) are not equipped to deal with anything like this. Yes, it is unfortunate that they have missed these ports, but I (and everyone I have spoken with) appreciate the government for taking these precautions. We do have one excellent hospital here on Island, but I can assure you they would not be able to handle an outbreak of Coronavirus here. As stated, it would be as if a Cat 5 hurricane struck the Island.
  13. I live here in Cayman. You definitely felt it. Lasted about 30 seconds. Had another 6.1 hit just before 5PM. Lots of smaller aftershocks since then, but nothing I could feel.
