Viking Emerald Yangtze River Cruise

We are booked with Viking for November.  I am reading all kinds of conflicting info on the Emerald.  She is referred to as "leaving the Viking fleet, recently refurbished, needs refurbishment, etc".  If anyone has cruised on her in the last year or so, what is her condition?  We sailed on a river ship who was changing ownership at the end of our cruise ... there were many unpleasant things and I'd like to avoid that experience.    Many thanks for any input.

Per Chinese law, Viking leases the Emerald. They have been using the Emerald since 2011 or 2012. Eventually, they will move their lease to another ship. It will happen without fanfare.

2011 — that’s when we were aboard. 

 

OP: I can’t speak to the Emerald’s current condition, but I will tell you that our trip with Viking in China was one of the best we’ve ever taken.
