Beverage Package - can cancel?

If I and my roommate both purchase the beverage package, can we cancel it before the sail date for a full refund?  Can one of us just have it?

You can cancel using the website up to 3 days before the cruise for a full refund.

 

Royal requires all guests over 21 in the same stateroom to purchase the Deluxe package if anyone in the stateroom purchases it.

Anything that is purchased together will be cancelled together,

I thought one could purchase it as long as the other purchased at a minimum the Refreshment package ??

It can't be done via cruise planner; you need to call Royal for purchasing that way.

And you need a reason for that.

 

Since you already booked the Deluxe for both, it will be hard to claim the second person cannot or does not drink alcohol.
