Don't forget there's also sunset veranda.  maybe the sunset vs infinite pricing gives insight as to what people prefer...

I have 3 Edge/Apex cruises booked in Sunset Verandas because traditional balconies are our preference. I had no trouble booking them (2 of them were booked fairly recently and quite a few were still available on one and 4-5 on the other) and they were all cheaper than the IV's (by about $100PP). I think some are nervous about being in the aft (worry about more movement and vibrations), but that is also our preferred location on a ship. 🙂
