Jumping Castle Posted July 1, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Hi we are travelling to Mystery Island in December on Celebrity Solistice. Have previously been to Mystery Island with Royal Caribbean when staff came on shore with drinks. Does anyone know if Celebrity do something similar? Many thanks
Rare MicCanberra Posted July 1, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Mystery Island has been fixed up with some landscaping and such making it a bit nicer, lots of plants and paths now. There are also Cabana's to hire. On our last visit they did have a drinks stand but then the islanders also had one.
Rare Stickman1990 Posted July 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2019 I doubt it - last time we were there in Feb 2018 on Crystal Serenity, Crystal were not allowed to take food and drinks onto the island (they did the previous time we visited there and we had a fun beach party) The authorities have stopped it - I believe for quarantine reasons officially but in reality it’s probably to protect the local stall holders and encourage purchases of food and drink by cruise ship visitors
Rod&Deb Posted August 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2019 We traveled to MI last year. Buy any trinkets you want to take home here as the other islands are rip offs. There is offerings of food to buy. Take small notes with you 5 and 10 dollar notes as obviously they don't have heaps of cash there. Gorgeous spot actually all of the islands were. Very laid back 🙂

banzaii Posted August 8, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) I believe they can still take chilled water ashore (you probably should avoid the local water and yes.. ice) but for everything else either buy from the locals or head back onboard. As a short tender, I have been known to go back and forth as required. Edited August 8, 2019 by banzaii
Rare MicCanberra Posted August 8, 2019 #7 Share Posted August 8, 2019 Normally swim around for a few hours and then head back for a kip and then back for another swim.
