Have been a NCL loyalist for years but the Bermuda cruises out of Charleston on the Sunshine have me very interested.

We normally cruise in the Haven and it didn’t seem like there is anything similar on this particular ship, is that accurate?

What benefits come with a suite and would it be worth it to book a suite or stick with an aft balcony?

thanks in advance!

If you could get one of the Premium Aft Wrap Balcony on Deck 6, 7, or 8, that would most compare to any sort of 'Haven Experience', as you have a massive balcony. Either that, or a Cloud 9 Spa Suite.

HI we did the Cloud 9 Spa Suite and did a review it you would like to see the room.  Hope this helps.

Thanks!  This seems like a good pick roomwise...  could you always hear the pool deck music when out on your balcony?

Yes but it was faint not overwhelming, inside the room I could not hear it unless I was really trying to.  That was on the Vista which is newer so the sound proofing might have been upgraded.  I don't have another boat to compare it to.

No Haven-equivalent on Carnival. As someone else mentioned, suite perks are almost nothing. The priority boarding does not always mean much. Our first time on Sunshine seemed half the passengers had "priority". As a result, those lines were long and moved slow. Those without priority had short lines  that moved quickly.

We will be on the October 26 Sunshine cruise to Bermuda from Charleston and are really looking forward to it. We are not loyal to any line, but of the Carnival ships we have cruise on, Sunshine is our favorite. This will be our third time on it. Love the huge variety of food options and the large Serenity with its own pool.
