I found it very interesting to read women serving on the bridge for Celebrity went from 3% in 2015 to 22% in 2019.  What is your vision for 2024?  Also are you looking looking to expand women’s roles in other places on the ships?  Thank you.

The number was 22% "across the fleet".

To me, that means in all positions, not just the bridge.

Do you think there should be a target or should Celebrity hire and promote the most qualified person without regard to gender?

Hi Orville, 

The 22% means across the bridges of our entire fleet.  The % of women that are onboard each ship in its entirety varies greatly by contract.  We are proud to say that we've gone from 0 to 5 female Hotel Directors, with women in key roles across all departments and at all ranks.  We are so proud of what we've accomplished and will keep pushing forward! The only goal that we have is to make sure that when qualified candidates of any gender or nationality are right for the job opening that they get an opportunity to apply and succeed in their potential role.
