Cabin 3416 Lower Promenade Deck Amsterdam

We will be on a long cruise next year on the Amsterdam. Our choices were few as to cabin availability and prices.

Has anyone been in 3416 or close by and were there any issues with noise from the dining room above?  This is also a connecting cabin and we are also concerned with noise from that.

Thank you in advance.

We have been in staterooms in the same area on the Amsterdam  2 times in the past on 14 day Alaska cruises and consider them a great value!  We have done HH and had no problem with noise from the dining room above.  The deck is just steps away and you are close to the dining room and Lido. We have chosen the lower promenade aft on many other HAL ships as well.  We have had connecting cabins and noise has never been a problem....just had one on the Oosterdam last month.

Rooms to avoid are under the main galley.  Your choice is fine.  Enjoy the Amsterdam, she is a beautiful ship!

During the evening time that the MDR is busiest you are likely to either be there yourself or elsewhere on the ship out of your cabin, so I wouldn't worry about noise from there.  We've had a half-dozen or so connecting cabins, and found them to be no more noise prone than non-connecting.  In fact we've had more noise problems in a couple of non-connecting with very loud neighbors.
