Change of Plans

Just discovered that DH cannot take the Horizon cruise we planned almost 2 years ago due to a change in with his work.  Thankfully, our oldest son was able to get time off from his job!  Now I have to go through all the hassle of changing our names, cabin configuration, and airfare.   

 

Any other things I might be missing?  It's going to cost us $250 to make the changes.  We are well past final payment as we leave on September 15.

If you have travel insurance, see if it covers work reasons.  

Also, if your son needs insurance, don't forget to check into that.  

Any pre-booked excursions?

Yes, we prebooked two excursions.  I will switch them over to son when I call Carnival.  Thankfully he was good with what we had already chosen!

How disappointing that your husband can't cruise this time, but at least you can still go and enjoy the time with your son.
