Celebrity's "Upgrade" Program and Accessible Cabins

I'm leaving in 3 weeks on Celebrity Constellation for a 10 day Med cruise. I've been getting these emails lately from Celebrity about upgrading - new program where Celebrity auctions off upgrades for larger cabins. Since I'm booked in an accessible Veranda cabin I couldn't find any information about how this works with accessible cabins so I called. They actually told me not to submit for this since there's no guarantee that you would be upgraded to an accessible cabin. Too bad their system isn't sophisticated to know that I'm already in an accessible cabin and would need to upgrade to an accessible suite (or larger cabin). Can't risk losing the accessible bathroom features!

My answer, when I asked, was you will not be assured of an accessible cabin f you win an upgrade bid. So no upgrading for me.

I was also told via e-mail that you would not be assured of upgrading to an accessible cabin.

Since we need an accessible cabin I always ask that my booking be marked DO NOT UPGRADE.  I would not want to take a chance that they upgrade me first and then tell me that they cannot return me to my accessible cabin because it has gone back into inventory and was grabbed up by someone else.
