Solid rain forecast for trip

We will be arriving on 10/11 via ship and departing 10/12. Currently it looks like solid rain is forecast throughout our stay. Hoping that changes over the next week, but wondering if there are suggestions on best things to do. We dock in Hamilton - understand most things will be closed by our arrival other than some bars and maybe restaurants. The following day we had planned on Horseshoe Bay and surroundings. Maybe some time in Hamilton before sailing. Any suggestions should the forecast hold would be appreciated. Thank you

The weather in Bermuda can’t be forecast a week out.  You probably used a weather app. Don’t rely on those for Bermuda. They use algorithms. They often cause cruise tourists unnecessary panic.  Usually rain is not solid. Maybe an afternoon or evening shower if at all but those apps show rain. Someone the short rain shower is on the east end but not the west end. They don’t distinguish. For Bermuda weather use the Bermuda Weather Service a couple of days out. Their local meteorologists can be wrong but they do a better forecast. http://www.weather.bm

We had rain forecasted for 2 of our 3 days there in August. It never materialized. As Charles said, there was one quick shower that came and went in a matter of minutes. Made it more humid (which you wont have to deal with as much this time of year) but that was about it.

Best strategy is to have a few secondary things you can pivot to in case there is rain even if thats a nice bar somewhere or something to wait it out. Whatever happens rain-wise most likely wont last long and you'll be back to the things you want to do.

Absolutely appreciate these responses!  It sounds totally reasonable - Hawaii is often this way but I know that area and not Bermuda, so thank you both.

Our trip begins in NYC with rain forecast each day we are there,  so I was hoping it wouldn’t be the case throughout our journey.

That said, can’t do a thing about it and a bar or restaurant makes for some good passing of time. Thanks again
