Tarragona cruise port

Looking to book a cruise next September on Jewel but I see that she is leaving from Tarragona and not Barcelona. Anyone got any ideas for hotels in this area please? I’ve looked at trip advisor but not always convinced that the reviews are accurate

No help on the hotels, however, another option could be to just take the train to Tarragona from Barcelona on the morning of your cruise.  It looks like there is service about every 30 minutes.  Trip lengths vary from about 30 minutes on the fastest trains to about one hour on the slower ones.  Renfe is the Spanish train company.  http://www.renfe.com

Which cruise are you looking to book? All the Jewel Med, Greek & European cruises in September, 2020 are showing as departing from Barcelona - at least that is what I am seeing. Am I missing something?

It’s the Venice one leaving Tarragona on 5th September. It was originally sailing from Barcelona but they changed it last night. It’s on jewel of the seas

Our Transatlantic in November 2020 just got changed from Barcelona to Tarragona, also. However we are on the Rhapsody and they are shuttling us down for free.
