shore excursion Credit

 I have never taken the shore credit before. Do I have to wait to book excursions till I am on board the ship in order to get the 50 credit. and the same question with specialty dining reservations? can I do it in the planner? I just booked my first solo cruise and am leaving on Saturday on the Sun.

For the shore excursions - you can use the planner to purchase them, pay the full price in advance and get the $50 credits during the cruise.  The alternate is to call and reserve your spot on the excursions, get charged on-board and get the credit after taking the excursions.  There's a thread somewhere in this NCL section detailing this...

 

For specialty dining - book away, up to your number of nights allowed.  If you goof and book one wrong you need to call to cancel it.

And here you go... 🙂  This the thread I started with tips on how to book shore excursions when you have the promo; others have kindly added to it.  I hope folks are still finding it helpful.
