I just did a quick google search and it took me to NCL’s site and this is one of the reviews. Hope it helps! We went last January to Mexico and we saw humpback whales every single day!! It was amazing! We did the Zodiak Whale watch. It’s a tiny inflatable boat and it’s super fast!! No restrooms on that one but we were as close as we legally could be!

We booked a whale watching excursion in Cabo through NCL.  I have no idea what company they used.  The boat was large, 2 decks, and they had restrooms onboard.  Chips and salsa along with alcoholic beverages and beer and soda was served and included with the price of the excursion.

The excursion started with a tour of The Arch at Land's End where we saw seals basking on the rocks.  From there we headed out into the open ocean and on our excursion we were extremely lucky and saw whales breaching.  That activity included flipper slapping.  It was awesome.

To appreciate how large these whales are some perspective is needed.  Check out the size of the whale's flipper in relation to the boat in the picture.

We went to Cabo in 2016 and did a whale watch on a boat like the one in this picture.  There were half a dozen or more haggling whale watch vendors right as we got off the tender.  We are a family of 6 and we negotiated 10$ a person or 60$ for all of us.

We were on a small boat with 4 other people, 10 total.  We quickly boarded and were on our way almost immediately after getting the safety speech and putting on our lifejackets.

The first thing our boat driver did was to join the other 50 boats following a pod of whales.  It was slightly comical as the boats are not allowed to get within a certain distance so it's like a huge line of boats slowly edging forward.

Then he noticed something and bolted like he was headed back to the beach and a shortcut later we were within 100' or so of a breaching whale with no other boats around.  It was pretty awesome.

Nice to go with a small group.  No bathrooms, no food or drink but certainly plenty of whales.

The whole trip from getting on board to getting back to the pier was about an hour and a half.
