miami airport check in and assigned carnival checkin

the earliest check in we could get from Carnival was 12:30. Does this apply to the Airport check in at Miami Airport for Carnival Horizon (out of Miami). If not, will we still be waiting at the cruiseport for the 12:30 check in time even if we check in at the airport? our flight arrives at 10 am and know there may be a delay getting on the ship but hoping its not until 12:30.

As this is a unique policy and procedure to Carnival (checking  in at the airport for the ship), I would suggest asking on the Carnival board.

Just head to the port.  They have an early arrivals line you can get in.
