I am interested in possibly using flight ease for one way and using frequent flyer miles the other way.  How can I do this?

No problem. I’ve done it.

When you go to book flight ease on the HAL site, you have the choice between both departure and return, departure only or return only.  Just choose the one that you want and the class of ticket and all the options come up.

You don’t need to book both flights with flight ease 😄

And we've found Flight Ease to be quite the deal on one way flights [snip]

FlightEase is far cheaper for travel outside the U.S., but about the same domestically as buying from the airlines. We're flying from Buenos Aires to LA in a couple of months, and FightEase was less than half as much as anyone else.

Also, at the front end of the sane trip, we booked our own flight using miles, works like a charm. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I already have some reservations.  So, I cannot find the option as to whether or not I want to select one way or round trip.  Do I need to completely cancel the reservation in order to select one-way?

You can’t see the flights UNLESS you have a reservation, so don’t cancel.

have you gone to your booking, manage bookings and then “travel” - pre and post cruise travel

Travel planning is on the far right.

Then click pre and post cruise travel on the upper left

click flights and at the top is the drop down for round trip, departure, return

further down you can even amend the date you want to go.

Can’t show it all without personal info showing but hopefully this helps?
