windsor26 Posted February 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2020 Can anyone you has RECENT knowledge of what Solomon Islands particularly does regarding allowing passengers ( mostly elderly of course) who cannot give written prof of having had measles years ago - will they let them disembark? Rare Zukini Posted February 6, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2020 I don't know the answer to your question, but I recently became curious as to whether my own measles vaccinations as a child were effective (I was vaccinated in that period where some got the live virus vaccine and others got the "killed" virus vaccine). I was able to get a measles titer test that proves that I'm immune to measles. Perhaps something like that would be helpful?
Tahitianbigkahuna Posted February 6, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2020 The CDC states that people born in the United States prior to 1957 probably had measles thus no need to get a vaccinated.
