NCL to Furlough 20% of Workforce Through July

I'm honestly surprised it's only 20%. Hopefully all those impacted by this have jobs to return to later this year.

20% sounds small. There has to be some nuance like "most people you interact with are contract workers and not employees". Airlines are projecting 2-3 years to get back to where they were a few months ago. I would speculate that cruise lines will be longer. If you are only making 60% of the booking you were pre-virus, then you would not need 100% of the staff after the 100 day no-sail order. I would have expected a large RIF of shoreside employees (vs. furlough).

Got a lot of people working on refunds
