I stayed there once a while ago. Nothing wrong with it, there's just not much around it. There's a small strip center next to it, and as I recall they had an airport shuttle and a shuttle to the port.
Tinkerbell Posted August 26, 2020 #27 Share Posted August 26, 2020 It’s in a great area, with great strip mall very close! We have stayed there many times.
iancal Posted August 28, 2020 #28 Share Posted August 28, 2020 (edited) It is in a very convenient area. Total Wine around the corner. Lots of restaurants close by. We have stayed there twice. The rooms are dark and badly in need of renovation (if they have not already been renovated). Last time we were there the lobby area had been updated. The big draw might be the their afternoon happy hour and the breakfast. The happy hour is not worth the bother. Breakfast is fine...as long as you do not have to stand in line in order to order, and then, get it. It strikes us as a hotel waiting for a new buyer to come along. Definitely not up to the standards of other Embassy Suites that we have stayed in. There a are better choices, IMHO, in the area. We only stay there if we get a great rate on Hotwire-otherwise we give it a miss. We prefer the Hyatt Place, Renaissance, or Hilton Marina. After staying many times at ES...in the last few years we opted for Hyatt Place instead.
