YC Cabins 15006, 15009 on Meriviglia

We're considering these cabins for an upcoming Meriviglia cruise, they're all the way forward in the Yacht Club.
Any info, pictures would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

  I would be concerned about your balcony.

Sometimes if you our on the very front of the ship, your balcony is not usable when the boat is sailing.

We had a front cabin once & made the mistake of opening the door when the ship was sailing. EVERYTHING in the cabin blew around.

These forward facing cabins actually don't have any more balcony area due to the angle of the ship.  the lower half is metal and prevents any view if seated in the cabin.  Even with the glass extending most of the way to the top there is significant wind when the ship is in motion.  Having been in a similar cabin on Meraviglia I would avoid these forward suites unless other side facing ones were unavailable.

We sailed in 15006 and found the cabin nice. The issue was how dark it was because of the tinted glass panels and metal lower balcony . There is a bar across balcony so cannot fully utilize balcony space. Asst butler pointed out that cabins on sides have glass panel railings and much more light in cabin. Also, the glass panel on upper railing area was alway very dirty. This made the view out not very scenic. To take pictures, had to crawl under railing and put camera in 4 inch space between metal and glass sections.
