oaktreerb Posted March 7, 2021 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2021 Thanks for posting. We’ve enjoyed a few overnights in Skagway after the ships have pulled out. We’ve listened to the Disney ship’s “When You Wish Upon a Star” as it backed out of the Ore dock. After the ships leave, the seasonal workers and families with children come out to hike. Next morning we wake up to ships in port and lots of people. Hopefully the community can hang in there until this is resolved.

donaldsc Posted March 8, 2021 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2021 The interesting thing is that w Skagway and also w Haines is that if you live there, you can't even get into your car and drive to a bigger city as you have to drive into and out of Canada to get to anywhere. If you live there, you are sort of isolated. DON
